need sum help after the car warms up temp gauge goes to the middle which is normal. while driving the car after warmed up the gauge slowly drops towards cold, an heater gets cooler. now i know its only 30degrees here but wtf.... iv had 7 other se-rs an none of them had this problem. oh an i checked everything except the heater core but i know its not leaking. i just dont know what it could be. it has a new radiator an thats all i ever put in the car. i only had the a year an the body has 290,000 miles on it an the motor has ruffly 80,000 on it an i know the water pump was new when the motor was built

Change the temp sending sensor, the one with 1 wire on it.It's the one sending the signal to your gauge. While you're at it change the one with2 wires on it also. It's the one sending the signal to the ECU.They're about $40 for both of them, and takes you 5 minutes to change.I change mine for the same reason. My temp gauge would drop once you started moving, and then flutter around aimlessly.Changing the 1 wire sensor fixed that, and I changed the other one for the hell of it.Can't hurt.

I have a smilar problem, it's weird. Once at operating temp, if im driving or even stopped, anything above 3500rpm would cause my temp guage to slowly drop. I replaced the thermostat, but I now have to change that one wire and 2 wire sensor. Thanks for the help!
