anyone *** how to get off the white letterings that the engine importors put on the valve cover? The ones that look like its written in some sort of marker. sr20det etc... thanx

I can tell you what not to use: Castrol Superclean. ;)

If you use something strong, spot check it on a discrete part of the valve cover to check for stains.

Brake cleaner and a rag does the job for me.
