Lol, ok so I've been looking around a lot at the different hat makers. I personally wear a hat all the time. I was thinking about possibly getting together a group buy on hats. We can probably get whatever we want on them. I like the idea of possibly getting a forum hat, or something along those lines. Anyone have some input? Oh and it would HAVE to be a Yupoong Flexfit. These are by far the best hats I've owned.

I'm game for a hat. I think it would be good for helping the comunity grow also. Let me know how much. BTW, I vote for a navy blue hat. For those of us who work on our cars with hats of, this color, IMHO, is the easiest to keep looking clean.

Ok now keep in mind. I've never started a groupbuy before. I'm willing to give it a shot. The prices are still in the air. I personally won't pay more the $25 for a hat. So don't worry about that. I just thought it would be a cool idea.

Well there are plenty of members here who have done group buys, and I'm sure that atleast one can give you some advice for this. Keep us posted if this does start going through.

I'm definetly in for a hat, specially if its a Flexfit. I bought two Flexfit NISMO hats when I wa in Hawaii and I wear them all the time. I'm just not sure what we could put on them. I don't think that just putting "SR20DE FORUM" is all that great of an idea, unless someone can think of a nice font and design for it.

Yeah that's kind of what I was thinking. There's a guy on Nissanforums.com who's selling flexfit Nismo hats, that's where I got this idea. $20 shipped. I'm definately getting 1

SR20 on the front or some engine with the nissan emblem or something nice on the front and maybe on the back it could say

basic block letters with sr20de or sr20deforum.com (but that might go around the whole hat) with some of that varsity looking letters with the fuzz coming out of it

maybe have sr20de in white with the black hat gray with red leters or white for a simple look. i dunno

heres a few ideas i have.
on the center of the back on the bottom have a nissan logo, it has to be small like 2-2.5cm wide and like 1.5-2cm tall. the words nissan may not fit so just the circle and the rectangle would be cool.
and on the front in the center SR20DE is like gothic letter or something of the sort, or like Kaufmann Bp BT on wordperfect.

or towards the bottom of the front off centered have sr20defourm.com. or that could go on the side.

a wide choice of colors would be bad ass.
not only hat color but embroidery colors too.

i'll try to think of more options.

Personally I would like to remind you that not everyone that has an Sr20 has an Se-R. Maybe just sticking to the Sr20 would be better then so its not just one group of owners but all of them that do have an SR20. Just an idea.

I would buy one if it was just an Sr20 thing ,but I don't have an Se-R and I am not a poser.

Yes I agree this is a very GOOD idea. I would buy one Matt! The only thing is....is a hat company just going to do anything we want? These requests are getting rather complex. Just make something basic. As much as I would like an se-r logo on it, there are about 10 billion 2002 SE-R's out there, and this would kind of ruin the intimacy that is our group. I would suggest just putting sr20de on the front and maybe a nissan symbol on the back. Actually just the sr20de on the front would be fine. You don't want to complicate the hat. Besides I'm sure if we want a million different embroideries on the hat its going to be getting more and more expensive IMO.

Yeah the more you put on, the more you pay. In a perfect world I'd like to get the picture that was on the shirt on the front covering the entire 2 front panels, and on the back get SR20DEForum.com . Now that's a HAT.. lol
