Been thinking of buying a SAFC 2 for my B14. I've been reading whatever I can find on.

What I'm curious about is when I add a turbo, will it recognize the fact that the airflow is pressurized from the turbo and account for it? Or am I just a little sleepy and thinking a little too hard on this? :)

Been searching all morning and can't seem to find a definitive answer.

Will the older apexi safc, and safc 2 allow you to change maf's without the ecu having a mental breakdown like the neo? If I understand correctly, the neo allows you to change maf's without ecu reprogramming.

I was running SAFC 2 with JWT ECU programmed for the MAF I was using on both a stock SR20DE and an Avanir with stock injectors and DE MAF and with 740s and Z32 MAF. Never changed any of the setup info on the SAFC just the correction values. However, my ECU always matched my MAF/injector setup obviously.

I ran the SAFC2 with my stock ECU on my old DET B14. Yes it will work. All it does it tricks the ECU that is it running the right amount of air and fuel. Once you have gotten a good dyno and tune with the SAFC2 you will have no problems. But to save you the headache of wiring just get a Calum Basic and be done with it.

For what just get a Calum RT and forget that SAFC2.

I got a really good deal on a safc2. But from what I've been hearing, I'm going to check into a Calum rt too.

AAAAAaarrGGgg!! What the f***!?!?

Decided to finally install my safc2 today. No problem, I don't mind wiring.

But what do you do when the rpm signal wire is not where the diagram says it is???

I have a 96 200sx se-r. I looked all in the apexi diagrams and stuff for what I THOUGHT was the right sr20de diagram, but when I pulled my ecu harness off, SURPRISE!!!
My harness is listed as "N5-a" in apexi's install manual. No other one like it.
Everything went together easy, but when I came to the last wire (green-RPM), there is no wire coming out of the harness in that spot!

HELP!!!!! Before I do something rash......>:(
