TUNED200 09-20-2002, 11:18 AM i have a stock bb det, with 12 psi going to it(on 111 octane at the track) and i also have warlboro hp255 fuel pump and stock ic front mounted. any guesses what whp i might have? i need to get to a dyno, but he closest one is 2 1/2 away

se-r sam 09-20-2002, 12:03 PM The closest dyno is only an hour away.:). Not a dynojet though:(
TUNED200 09-20-2002, 01:05 PM its weird, there are no dynos in the cincinnati area, but there are probley dynos in dayton, columbus, louisville and lexington. i guess i will have to drive and find out. working on front mounting the ic right now.

Rockwood 09-20-2002, 01:32 PM I hit 250 whp, 261 tq @ 13 psi. this is on a 98 US SR20DE with tomei cams, 3" exhaust (2.5" DP) Forge FMIC and wolf tuning. Run was done on C16 (117 octane) but that was mainly to keep from blowing up.
SHAWNATGERBROCK 09-20-2002, 08:14 PM Exhaust is the key !!! If you are running a full 3" system you are probably around 250+ ...with 2 1/4 system your around 225..... My brothers BBDET G20 at 7 lbs with full 3" exhaust through a 3" N1 felt the same as 14 lbs with the Greddy 2 1/4" cat back !!!
Jackson Diamond 09-20-2002, 10:10 PM About 795 rwhp with NOS!!!

Rockwood 09-21-2002, 04:47 AM i talked to a guy that made "200 whp" on his 2000 SE with CAI, exhaust, and pulleys. I told he needs to get a header, then he'll have as much power as me.
funny part was the stunned look on his face when i smoked him at 6 psi.
SERprise In WV 09-21-2002, 02:10 PM Steve, your Tomei cams aren't an accurate comparison here, dude. Apples to oranges. Your car breathes sooo much better than a stock BB or DET it isn't even funny, IMHO.
Brian...just for reference... I dynoed at 212whp in June, and am pulling 101-103mph trap speeds. Make your own inference from that.

im here in dayton and im pretty sure there is a dyno, i'll let you know for sure within a day or two.

Rockwood 09-23-2002, 02:07 AM yeah, true, but he can get those cams too, then he can hit the same 250 whp. my higher CR is negated by his better flowing head, and resistance to detonation.
