I welded and setup the intercooler piping on a rwd sr20det with a precision billet turbo, not sure on the trim and the car put just over 700hp to the wheels. This was a fully worked engine and head running stand alone engine management.

I know a guy with a B20/VTEC swap running a PC6262, and it doesn't spool until after 4500rpm on a fully built and worked motor. No expense spared. he plans on downgrading because the motor just can't spool the turbo fast enough.

I can't recall if anyone in the SR community has run a 6262 yet.

Did he have the .67 a/r or the .82 a/r. I have alot of friends using this turbo on their 2.0 evo's and they are very happy with them. I am thinking about upgrading to the 6262 later this year. You have to know your setup and chose the correct back housing that match what you want.

the 6262 is big hp turbo am really interested in the 5557 or 5857 seems like good turbos for 450-500 awhp am still in the process of putting my my awd b13 together looking at my choices in turbo,s had decieded on the gt3076r but would like to know a bit more on the precision 5857

He had the .82 A/R at first and I told him it was too large for a turbine that size. I told him it'd be better to go with the .67 so he purchased it and we installed it. Didn't make that much of a difference in spool time, TBH.

Hell I run a 30R with a .82 A/R and don't have NEAR the work or high flowing head he does, and I hit full boost by around 4700~4800rpm.

Got a link to that build? RWD I assume, just a drag car? E85? Boost? etc. etc.

With that 6765 it looks like the fun starts at around 5k.
