: clutch time please hurry and help me kenley_ser 09-20-2002, 02:15 PM ok I cracked a piston ring so I'm getting my new engine, I'm turbo so the stock clutch sucks, I wanted to know if I can run the street/strip Stage II or III from ACT with the stock pressure plate, disc is only about 100 versus 400 slipper 09-20-2002, 02:48 PM i dont recommend using a aftermarket disc with only a stock p/p, especially since you have a turbo. even though the disc will grab better, the p/p doesnt have enough clamping force. i have a ACT xtreme p/p used for 500mile for sale and a clutchnet 4 puck sprug hub disc also for sale. My sprung hub disc will be a lot easier to drive compared to the ACT disc that is probably unsprung. email me at shoepoweredser@aol.com if you are interested and we can discuss price.
