I got a universal upstream o2 sensor and need to splice it with the old connector. The oe sensor has two white and one black wire, exactly like the universal. So it's straight up wiring right? Obviously black/black and white/white, white/white? Or are the whites different from one another?

mmmh, i doubt it will because if i'm understanding 02 sensors correctly you'll have a constant voltage being sent to the plug (one white wire) the sensor will change the voltage depending on what it reads and send it out (the other white wire) to ecu or whatever. So regardless, the current's path will basically be the same just reverse, which will read the same. Make sense?
