Since we sold the Maxima before we thought we would (didn't plan it that way), and we needed something for Mike to get through the rest of winter. We contemplated a 99 g20, a sr20de B15 and some other models like Impreza RS and Audi A4 just for giggles. The Impreza RS and Audi A4 were too expensive for just a winter beater and we couldnt' find a suitable 99 g20 so we settled on this 'new to us' POS P10.
At one time it was a t... sort of still is but it had a front fender bender at one point in its life and got a new bumper cover (no more foglights), headlights, and radiator... and either the radiator support never got hit OR it was professionally replaced (not sure which). The hood still has a small wrinkle in it with a nice rust bubble forming. The rear interior is immaculate (like never sat inside) but the front is typical worn out/ripped stiches for the driver seat but passenger seat in nice shape. We say some tan interior ones too but we just prefer the dark interior. The non-smoker aspect appealed to us as well. Yes it is autotragic (but if we really wanted, we have all the pieces and parts collected from our junk yard runs in phoenix to convert it to stick-shift if we so desired).
Anyway, it will serve its purpose and the auto isn't as bad as the auto in the p11 so there it is... not too pretty, not too horrible either (needs work like brakes, lower control arms, alternator, water pump, etc.) and Mike hasn't had time to really inspect completely to see what else it will need since we just picked it up last night but here she is...
