I sent them an email asking about them, spring rates are 7.5 for front and 4.5 for rear, they also said if they were to start leaking in the first year they would replace them. I can't help but to think they are crap. The pic doesn't look bad but I would rather have a solid product than a nice pic. Anybody ever hear of these, have any opinions?

from what i heard they are crap. i didn't the same thing and posted a link on the forum and got that response.

I sent a message to one of the buysers (who has a b13) and he said they are very good and he likes them. I would like to hear from someone who actually bought these. I'll try to find your thread again and copy the link.

They are junk! ANYONE who owns them that has a clue will tell you they suck, anyone who owns them that thinks they are great, has not had them on a shock dyno. nor have they actually used them in a track day setup and compared them to a good suspension that is properly set up.

Rite-o, that is what I was thinking hence why I was questioning them. I am getting some bits and pieces coilovers. Thanks for the input!

I wouldn't let someone pay me $200 to put it on my car. I OWN a quality setup that I built myself from Koni parts. I KNOW I is junk as it is the same crap as the Ksport, Megan racing stuff. Crappy quality control by the manufacturer, valving an adjustment does little to nothing.

If you want to buy it go head. But I lump you in the category with others in my previous post. You wouldn't know the difference between that junk and an Advance Design suspension if you drove both on the track.

They're actually BC Racing coilovers in the V1 design. Different to G4/D2 or Ksports. They're a monotube (non-inverted) and while they may not provide the same excellent damping response as a quality Koni sport twin tube, they're certainly better than some of the other cheap china stuff.

Few poeple locally here in australia have them, as well as the "gold" series which are the model after these with gold collars and tops which are also available in mono inverted fronts and external reservoir versions if requested.

I don't think that everybody that is interested in coilovers is taking their car to the track. Also I think that Cozzm0's opinion holds a little more water than shunning them due to the fact they are from ebay. At least he sited un-named people using them even though he never said if they performed well or not. Just my .02

My simple Koni setup is so comfortable on the street I often forget it is lowered and track ready. So just because your not going to the track that means it's OK to sacrifice performance and ride and bile quality? Of your OK with that then rock on, afterall it's your car an money.

Lots of people are after aesthetics over GENUINE handling and these cheaper coilovers provide that for them. I'm all for handling, but have never had the time/budget/ability to properly research a quality setup, so i've gone the easy route and bought TEIN off the shelf/imported from Japan. Never had a drama with them.

I obtained shock dyno data for the Monotube inverted BC range which showed a MASSIVE difference in soft to hard damp force, which almost seems unlikely to be true? but i'm not sure? Considering the damp force and comparing them to TEIN dyno data i have for superstreet,ha,flex,monoflex, the BC's ride extremely well, and when set "hard" almost seem to not have enough rebound damping as they get a little bouncy, but not "harsh" like the TEIN does, so i guess that points to things not being as "controlled". But i am CERTAINLY no suspension expert. I have had TEIN HA and TEIN Flex in my cars over time.

that's the manufacturer website. the BR is the 'gold' range, i have ridden in a n N15 (JN15 VZ-R 3 Door) car with RM mono inverted and the ride is very comfortable set a little under 1/2 of the range of damping.

I have done a disassembly of a monotube inverted shock which suffered a fault, but was VERY swiftly replaced. Looked as though the seal (grub screw/bung) for the pressure side of the monotube was not sufficiently locked down and the charge leaked out slowly causing loss of damping. Other than that, i'm not aware of any seal failures or the like for this partciular brand.
