i am writing this for anyone who has had recent dealings with, or is thinking of dealing with a forum member "DAXX",aswell as the moderaters of the forum, In hopes that i along with anyone else may get their parts we bought or our money returned from him.

my story is a s follows:
in november i bought shocks, springs, coil overs, camberplates and an AEM computer with wideband from DAXX for approx. $2000. I had bought 2 ve engines from him in the past so didn't really think twice about sending him a large sum of money because our previous dealings from a few years ago went smoothly. I sent my money order express hoping to get may parts asap and paid for 6 day shipping. it was november when my money was sent and recieved by him, and as of today (feb 7 2010) i have recieved no parts and no refund. DAXX had told me in mid to late december he had not sent the parts because he worked in retail and was busy with the holidays and it was discussed that my parts would arive prior to the new year. after that he did not return any pms for almost a month. i told him i was concerned and just wanted my parts. i was told they would be sent asap. in the next few weeks he had given me a phone number to call because i wanted to know what was going on. he never anwsered the phone and there was no anwsering machien. i called numerous times and he said he would call me numerous times to inform me about what was going on. that never happened. he gave me an email adress then to contact him at. he responded occasionally to my emails with different reasons why i didn't have my parts. i have now asked for my money back and havent gotten a reply from him in almost 2 weeks. i have become aware that other people who bought from him are in the same boat. i have waited this long to post because i know he had alot more parts he was selling and knew that he would be banned if this came out. but like i said i have become aware that im not the only person getting the run around.

not sure if anything can be done but he should not be aloud to screw anyone else.

Wow I still don't believe you don't have your parts yet. I can no longer vouch for this guy. I hope you paid him through paypal. I would have filed a dispute long time ago. Then again you also have issues with sending out items so .....

He still owes me a part from our gear stack deal as well. Replacement third gear for the SR20 trans. He hasn't responded to my PM regarding it either. I'm not desparate for it, but it was part of the deal and I should still be sent the part I've already paid for. Well see what happens. I'll post up if he sends me it or I hear from him.

good luck filing a paypal dispute. if he was smart, he'd probably already withdrew the money and left his balance at zero. so even if you win the dispute, you get nothing because there is nothing in his account. ask me how i know?

Wake up, paypal doesnt help at all. I filed a dispute and later a claim against him and won unanimously because he did not reply to a single message in the dispute or claim, but still I did not receive a penny from paypal. Like said above, he emptied and closed his account before.

He made it up to me 6 months later by shipping some other parts, but if he dissappeared, paypal would have never helped a bit.

I think there is enough evidence now so that nobody else buys from him. He claims he is too busy to ship parts, but he is not busy at all to receive money and respond to PMs and e-mails prior to the sale very promptly. In my case, he explained to me about a personal issue of his, which is understandable, but the lack of communication for so long is not. He responded every PM and e-mail asking about the sale, shipping, etc but the moment I sent him money he vanished in thin air. Not excusable.

And seriously, people need to READ the buying / selling experiences section BEFORE buying anything in here. I must admit I read it AFTER I sent the money to him and did find evidence he regularly screws people or delays his shipments well beyond reason.

I paid with a money order so what your saying in regards to paypal is erelevant to this thread about DAXX screwing people (no offence). i had the same experience in regards to the answering of messages and then not answering after payment. i've been to this guys house in las vegas but he told me when he recieved my money that he was moving. so i'm not sure what that is worth but if thiere is another member in the vegas area willing to help that could come in handy somewhere down the line.

i've dealt with daxx before, and never had a problem. at the time i purchased the parts, it seemed he was working with the people that never received their parts, and giving refunds. he reassured me after the first excuse that he wasn't out to screw me over. first couple weeks i didn't worry so much or doubt him, but after OMG it was frustrating just trying to get a response. purchased parts dec 8. today i finally received my money order for my refund.

hopefully i am next to get parts or my refund. is he still answering your texts as of recent or the refund was a surprise?

I'd like my part over my refund. A brand new 3rd gear would fix my spare tranny! Still haven't heard from him...

me too. i need the parts. he told me he got my money order and was shipping in the next few days (in early edecember), so i put my suspension up for sale, sold it. had no option but to ship it, so my car is sitting on 4 dollys, no shocks, no springs, nothing.

he text'd me asking for my address and full name, then later the tracking number for the money order.

im going to text him again . fingers crossed he replys

Hello, I apologize to those whom have not got their items. I am out of town and just got hold of my phone last night. I'm using my blackberry to post this since it was brought to my attention. I already got hold of the OP and its taken care of. Before I left I had all items being shipped out thru fedex, I scheduled a pickup but apparently it did not happen. I called and it seems my address on file was not correct as they say now I have 2 trannies, suspension parts and an item going to Canada on my porch. I have my bro looking into it so tomorrow I will see what the updates are. The MSD was shipped out on friday by my bro and the item going to Canada was supposed to also but it got caught in the FEDEX pile so I have him taking care of that asap.
