I live in Salt Lake City, so I don't know the best places to live in Provo. You could PM SR20detUtah. He just graduated from BYU and recently moved to Fresno.

By the way, I bought his 1998 SE with DET conversion. There is only one other DET in the state that I know of and its in a G20.

Hey, Are you going to BYU/UVSC? Jobs are plentyful, but they don't pay very well. It's a great student town and that's about it. I miss the mountains, but not the stupid drivers. My wife and I are planning to move back to the Salt Lake area within the year. Over-all you'll enjoy living there.

Good Luck,
Richard-I miss my 98 SE Turbo.

I don't know what you are into as far as social life goes, but if you are into going out and partying that is not the place,. It is a very religious place to be. ( no offense to mormons) but you will see a church every other block, just about everthing is closed down on Sundays and you will be totally surrounded by religion. (ie. schools, papers, news,at work) Besides that aspect of Utah I like it here. Boosted Ute: There is a 240 with a DET and I will be turbo'd soon (2-3 weeks) and my friend just ordered a Avenir from JGY so we will be turbo'd also!!!!!:D

Jackson: There is also no "real" Nissan tuning shops here, oh there is one that will work on your car but you will pay double what you would anywhere else. They quoted my friend $5300 for a BB installed.......

Provo is a strange place. Which school are you trying to transfar by the way? Unless you go attend school down there, I would say, stay away from that place.. There's really nothing there (IMO). If you don't like that kind of place and still going to Provo for school, you could have a place in south end of Salt Lake valley and It's still half an hour away from Provo. (just giving you an option)

yeah...i used to live in Provo. It was pretty crappy. As for jobs down there....it's mostly like anywhere else. Depending on your experience there should be something for you. Pay probably wouldnt be the greatest if your like me (no experience..haha) Living actually isnt too bad there though. You could probably get a one bedroom place for around 400$/month. I agree with Carbonblack, best thing to do would be to move to South Salt Lake....(unless your going to BYU or UVSC full time), you might not want to drive that much....blah. I guess it just all depends on you. Basically PROVO sucks! hahahaha....yeah
