Alright ive never owned a nissan before and recently the more and more ive been researching the more attracted to them ive become. A curse you could say :D

I really like the s13. Just something about those kouki tails make me wanna.... Well you get the point. And honestly i know basically nothing about Nissan. I know sr20de came in 200sx originally, ka24dets are in the blessed 240sx, sr20dets in 180sx's? yada yada yada. Im just trying to get pointed in the right direction.

If i find a nice 240sx sohc how hard would it be to put a sr20det or ka24det in? going from sohc - dohc do you keep original driveshaft and gears? What would be needed wiring wise? Stock sohc harness? And mounts, are both ka and sr drop in swaps in the s13 chassis?

I Dont even know which swap is right for me? I want more of a drifting engine then speed queen. And from what ive heard that is the sr20det.
