ok so the nx says its overheating like i said before.. but today it stays in the hot aera until i engine break from like 4k rpm.. i mean the temp gauge will be up and down up and down in a matter of seconds so im thinking no f*ucking way can the temp change that fast so i get it home its in the H aera and i let it idle and for the first time i see the over flow plastic tank start to boil but it wasnt full on boiling just a little.. so i have no idea what would cause the temp gauge to be sporatic? people tell me its the exhaust leak where my manifold meets the downpipe..but ive read that the temp sensor is on the intake manifold so WTF is goin on with this thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i also keep both fans on when i drive so theres no way this thing is overheating.. everything has been replaced except the radiator and thats not even that old maybe a year if that.. i mean every damn piece of the coolant system is new but the radiator so if i change that and it still does it im really gonna trip the F*uck out!

did you bleed the radiator correctly?
was your thermostat changed also?

yeah i bled it but im going to do it again tomorrow after work and yes the thermostat was changed on tuesday.. i think the kid that owned it before put stop leak in it because the water pump was leaking remember.. so maybe that clogged up the radiator somwhere but ebay has a godspeed alumnium radiator with 2 12" fans for 200$ shipped here so thats a really good deal im gonna do that this week if the next flush doesnt work

If the guage is acting up, check the connector on the sensor. They very frequently go bad.

by chance do you know where the temp sensor is? ive only read its on the intake manifold but that could be wrong

Look above and behind the oil filter - the smaller sensor with a single pronged connector is for the gauge, the larger sensor is for the ECU.

not quite branden but i have figured this out it only does it 50% of the time after i romp on it.. like say after work on monday ill rev it burnout for a sec and *** cruise home after itll be fine the whole way home the gauge wont act up right.. so say tuesday no burnout or reving.. *** floor it to 5k and shift normally and then cruise.. then itll say its overheating after 20-25 minutes of driving.. thats one thing ive noticed and the other is if i shut it off and back on a couple times like ill get gas shut it off and then start it up ill notice the temp gauge move to the middle then i go stop at mcdonalds and start t back up and then the temp gauge will start bouncing like its a tach.. i mean most of the time when its doing it ill short rev it like *** tap the gas and the tach goes but at the same time so doesnt the temp gauge and it comes back down like in sequence lol i mean the temp gauge has got to be f*cked or somthin.. or if it says its overheating past the H ill let it idle and ill watch my coolant overflow right and itll be bubbling but not even hard i mean 4 bubbles ever 45 seconds so this is as detailed as its gonnna get for now bro
but i have a nx1600 digi cluster you know anyone who would trade me for a water temp gauge and a/f gauge ? or even *** a water temp gauge by autometer one that reads 50-250 not to be picky but i know it doesnt run past 250 degrees lol
