i have a garrett gt28r,i searched for a rebuild kit on turbo by garrett and Gpops it said that they dont have rebuild kits for ball bearing turbo's..:dunno:...anybody?:confused:

you have to replace the entire chra. cant rebuild them....sux

I know a trick to rebuilding them.............

I have a BB t28 sitting at my place I wish I could rebuild.

they shouldnt need a rebuild unless you starve them of oil, feed them shitty/contaminated oil or ingest FOD...If something goes wrong with a Garrett BB CHRA due to quality/defects Im pretty sure they will back it...but 99.99% of the time its oil starvation or fod that kills them

i thought i had a prob with mine it was leaking air psi out of the hose that comes off the wastegate(hks adjustable good for 15lbs) so it would only give me 10 lbs max boost..fixed it,took for a spin and OMG!15lbs of boost was bananas!

yeah that doesnt sound like a center section problem at all....
