Tape deck by Clarion for Nissan, CD player by Aiwa, wiring and brackets by Stine Industries Ltd., Smart Switcher by ????????

Basically, when the CD player is powered on, the smart switcher turns off the tape deck but allows the CD to play through the speakers. I imagine that the Nissan OEM add-on CD player has this circuitry built in to it.

I'd try getting an account with hypermart.net - membership is free, and I've uploaded LOTS of files to their server, and have never been hassled about remote file linking or web space restrictions. Give them a try, you've got nothing to lose.

BTW Nice pictures - replace that stock unit with some gauges :D

I'm going to get an A-pillar guage pod eventually. The whole point of this install was to be able to play tapes AND cds; I already had the CD player and got the stock tape deck more recently.

I just have a large collection of tapes that I'd like to be able to listen to; now I can.
