Hi,
I have a 180sx with a redtop sr20det engine,

the problem i have does'nt happen every day just every so often,
what happens is the car starts to lose power on low rev's like its pulling a heavy trailer and starts spluttering untill you hit 3 and a half thousand rev's and over it starts to go come back into play again,

the thing with this prob is that if u turn off the car for a few hours or leave it over nite and come back to it again the problem seems to be gone and the car runs fine......this prob could happen a few days apart or even a few weeks apart,

I've checked the pipes on the intercooler and to the turbo and they seem fine,
i've checked the actuator and it seems ok aswell,
checked the plug's and coils,
changed the fuel filter,
the fuel pump seems to be ok,

any help on this would be great

have you any ideas to what could be causing the problem?.........i've looked at the airflow sensor aswell and im running out of ideas to what this problem is

do's anyone at all out there have any ideas to what may be causing this prob as im fresh out of ideas and want to get it sorted...............anyone?

Did some one say engine managment. Yup I did.
