just would like to introduce my self im new to your forums here, and i wanted to toss my 2 cents in too lol i actually went to engine trend several times and was disappointed at the quality of service and their engines they had. i needed a sr20de and they had reasonable prices but recommended i changed head gasket, valve cover gasket, some seals dont member which ones, and a few other engine parts i didnt feel comfortable i got the feeling that the engines probably wernt in good condition... i ended up getting one off craigslist and i test drove it before i bought it :biggthump... but i got one prob with that ill explain later.

a valve cover gasket, main seals, and oil pan seals are something you should always change/reseal on a used engine. Unless you like to find out the hard way when your engine starts leaking. lol. My VE's front main seal leaked on me with only 36K miles on the clock. And I know for a fact that it had that many miles because I bought a JDM P11 front clip which came with the dash, cluster, etc., and I pulled the engine myself.

My advice to anyone getting a Jdm De would be to just skip the Jdm De and go for the Uk one if you can get them for around the same price. Unless you plan on turboing it.

So I went to Nippon and I feel I got a great deal my total was around 400$ because of a core charge and taxes and best of all its a roller rocker there's one more left just a heads up

that does sound like a good deal for a RR, it is a newer engine.
