IMO, sr16 is a waste of money. The only advantage over the sr20ve is that you can rev super high, but whats the point if you won't have power!? I Plus it's typically more expensive(sr16).

When you say you want more power do you mean more torque? You're only getting a little bit more with a VE. If you want torque then go turbo.

if you have a nx2000 i can say that you already are SR20DE Manual tranny... bla bla bla...
If you want some advantage and don't want to spend so much money buy a SR20VE but if you want to go straight in buy a SR16VE with tranny. Advantages are you can take the crank and rods from the old SR20DE and throw them in the SR16VE you will get high comp pistons, better cams, better transmission and the displacement will automatically increase to 2.0VE :D. well its your decision anyway :D

the reason i want to know what engine is because my nx now is on its last lol..my fifth gear pops outs and one of the valves is worn out and it sounds like i got a typewriter in my engine *** i rev over 3g's lol..soo idk if i **** just spend the money to fix that or *** swap everything out and start off fresh

I vote for drop in a jdm motor and start fresh. I tried rebuilding an old sr20 and that gets expensive real quick.

both of those vendors are great.if u wanna keep things all motor and simple, drop a ve in their/calum ecu and replace the supp mods..then u should have some power from 185-190. i would just get a fresh jdm from their and ride out until you figure out your power goals..a jdm de will be faster than what u have so far and u can always boost it later
