so my pistons cracked in between the rings on my oem sr20det pistons and i have some n/a pistons out of a sr20de. Now i saw the oil squiters in my det block on teardown and have head that some ppl have NOTCHED there de pistons to make clearence for the det squirters. Just wondering how to NOTCH or SHAVE the bottom of the piston without harm. I dont wanna have to buy new pistons or rings and i know the c/r is gonna go up 9.5.1.
