Im stuck trying to get a consult cable to pull data from my ecu. Ive got the right COM port selected (4). That was easy..checked under device manager in xp. Do i need to change any of the settings to work with a ga ecu? its set at 9600 baud/8 bit/ flow control set to none/frequency set to low?

I might try seeing if it will connect to my other car with SR20 to make sure the cables/interface is working correct.

Im fairly good with pc's but still no luck :(

Anyone here use a consult cable hooked to a ga16? What settings?

Well I got it all working like a charm now! :biggthump I had found the problem on my end of the consult connector (hook up cable). Make sure double check the DIY consult schematic here on the forum. Had to switch some wires around.
