Modified 1993 NX2000
93.5K original miles

http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m217/SE-R_Dan/NX/IMG_2046.jpg

I have owned the car since May 1999 (purchased with 43K miles). I have also owned a B13SE-R and currently own a P11 G20 turbo, so I know a lot about these cars. About 3 years ago I did a complete suspension restoration and upgrade, and also replaced the clutch, installed a header, etc. My goal was to learn to autocross the car, but then I took a new job where I've been working 60+ hours a week. I'm selling because I have 3 other cars and don't have any time to drive the NX or mess with it. The car runs and drives great. I'd like to get $1500 for the car, which is really less than the price of the modifications alone. I have all stock suspension, intake, and exhaust parts.

I'm also willing to trade for parts (G20T, or E46 BMW 330), tools, etc. (added 3/3)

The car has had excellent maintenance, synthetic fluids, only Nissan oil filters, etc. It has been autocrossed once (it was a blast). No other racing. Clean title. No visible rust. Car was purchased in Tucson and stayed in Arizona until 8/99. It was then in LA until 2005 and has been in Austin, TX ever since. I have a consult cable and NissanDataScan on my laptop, so if anyone wants to see the car, I can plug that in to confirm that there are no CELs, and that the timing, TPS, AAC, etc. are all working correctly (added 3/3).

Modifications
All of the items below have been on the car for 6-10k miles, except where noted:

Performance
- JWT POP ECU
- Hotshot Cold Air Intake
- SSAC Header
- VRS 2.5" exhaust
- "Nismo" ground wires :-)

Chassis/Suspension
- Full Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings (ALL bushings except the rear trailing arms, which should not be replaced)
- Whiteline caster adjust control arm bushings.
- Progress adjustable rear sway bar
- D2 coilovers w/ pillowball mounts and front camber plates (and extra springs)
- Whiteline lower control arm brace
- Active Tuning rear strut tower brace
- Cusco Type ST front strut tower brace
- Energy Suspension motor mount inserts (all 4) pressed into new mounts (~30k miles)
- Axis Metal Master brake pads. Brembo replacement rotors AD22VF (~30k miles)

Driveline
- Transmission case strengthened (metal epoxy filled)
- Redline shockproof gear oil
- Raxles axles
- Clutchnet disk and type 1 pressure plate
- Short shifter (B&M style)

Alignment Specs
- -1.75 degrees front camber
- -1 degree rear camber
- slight front toe in
- zero rear toe

Cosmetic
- Clear turn signals and side repeater lenses

Stereo
- Alpine V12 amp
- Boston Acoustics front speakers
- Eclipse rear speakers
- Tube subwoofer
- No head unit

Recent maintenance parts
- Battery replaced at 80k miles.
- Newer cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs
- Power steering high pressure hose replaced
- Axle seals, rear main seal, throwout bearing, bearing clips all replaced at 87k miles with new Nissan parts
- Ball joints and outer tie rod ends replaced recently

Options/Details (added 3/3)
- Cruise Control (working)
- 5 speed with factory LSD (Working. No problems whatsoever)
- Power doors/windows (electronics work, but have some issues. See below.)
- Power mirrors (working)
- T-tops (working with slight leaks)
- Factory wheels and Dunlop 195/55/14 tires (25-50% tread)
-----
The bad:

Exterior
- Car has some minor hail damage
- Paint and body are vintage 1993, so there are some scuffs and dents. :-)
- Paint on Rear bumper and rear spoiler is cracked, peeling

Interior
- No stereo head unit is currently installed.
- Driver's side power window does not raise.
- Driver's side door lock is not working.
- Driver's seat bolster is worn.
- Console lid hinge is broken.
- Dash is cracked.
- Window tint needs to be removed (added 3/3)

Mechanical
- Car has barely been driven in the past 3 years, so it probably needs a coolant flush, brake fluid flush, and some bushings lubed.

No rust on the hatch, strut towers, or A-pillars. AC and cruise both work. All positions on the fan blower work. Fifth gear has no pop-out. I'll update my original post with some more details and put the date by all my updates.

I had planned to sell it about 2 years ago for ~$2500, but never had the time. Then the car had some hail damage and insurance paid me $900, so I figured I'd pocket the money and pass the savings on to a new buyer. :-)

I still can't believe this isn't sold. I've been trying to get my friends to buy it.

Do you take paypal? I could put this on a credit card and part it out and make money.....

j/k parting it out would be a crime.....

You have PM.

I have several PMs to call people on the east and west coast, but no local interest so far. I'm going to wait a couple more days hoping for someone local before I follow up on some of the other offers.

I guess I should try craigslist in Austin, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.

I would feel better knowing the car went to someone who is knowledgeable and appreciates it, rather than simply local.

But if you can get more for it locally, more power to you.
