Hey everyone, I'm looking at buying a friend's turbo'd b13 se-r and was hoping that I could find some information here. The engine head has 5J5 written in one direction, and 83A in another direction. It is a gold top valve cover with a black spark plug valley. I'm not sure exactly what SR20 this is and was hoping you guys can help me out.

I did a compression test on it and it came up as 120, 115, 112, and 121 Although the are all within tolerance of eachother I'm worried that overall the compression is low, but I cannot find out exactly what engine this is and what the compression ratio should be.

I will post a picture of an engine soon. Thank you for any help, looking forward to gaining some new info.

I'm guessing the compression ratio is 8.3/1
