i didn't think aluminum was as rigid as steel, given the same size and shape?

its not. its not very common to find chassis braces made of aluminum. on top of that it is very difficult to weld aluminum and requires totally different welding equipment.

yes and no

i am real busy right now and it is way to hot outside (i don't have an airconditioned shop/garage

i'll get back to them sometime soon

if you are interested shoot me a deposit and give me 4-6 weeks to knock them out
