When I bought my SER, the guy told me that he wasn't able to slide the dimmer all the way to fully bright because the instrument cluster lights (left side...gas meter) would blink and often go out. I have replaced the dimmer switch with three other ones but it is still the same problem. When you first turn on the lights, everything lights up fine.....but will blink or go out eventually....coming back on when it wants to. Would replacing the entire cluster resolve this issue? I do have another one from a GXE or SE (can't remember).

What about just replacing/fixing the lightbulb?

I have not removed the gauge cluster yet, MOJO. Eventually, I will do it this weekend. It seems weird because it's fine when I first turn on the lights in the morninig. Hrmmm...

Come to find out...the previous owner installed (3) LED lights in the cluster. I'm assuming the one on the left side was acting up so I ditched all of them for good o' amber 194's. Looks much better!!!!
