ON the bottom part of my cai near the throttle body, there are three male tube pieces coming off the unit. Two of the tubes are about 1/2 inch in diameter,the other is a dinky little one with a tiny tube running off of it. Well, the tiny metal male end broke off the CAI the other day. What should I do? I tried glueing it back but nothing seems to work...is this part necessary to trail off the air or can i just clog it up and clamp the hose? I dont even see it on some of the newer CAIs in pics....just the older ones. Can anyone help me out on this one or do I need to buy another WAI piece?

Take the piece between the MAF and the TB and get it welded back on. Maybe JB weld would hold it on but either way try grinding the paint around it down for better adhesion.

sounds like the real little EGR dump off tube you are talking about. Plug that hole....let the hose dangle somewhere. You'll be fine.

I will be fixing it at sometime or just getting a new piece. I will clamp it for now. Dont want and debris getting in my intake or TB. Thanks.
