Was wanting to know if the VE water pump is the same as the DE or if I need if off a B14 motor?

still trying to find the water pump in Arizona dont want to buy off line or over the phone. If you know anyone that can get the VE water pump in the phoenix area please pm me.

a de pump will work. order one off a 96- 98 200sx se-r. fit like a glove.. i have my back up on standby for my ve.

really i was looking at the VE water pump and it said that it is only for the japan VE motor not the US but a DE will work on it just fine?

You can get the VE water pump from Courtesy Nissan.

It will fit a DE just fine. Same number of blades, but they're a bit shorter. I'm not an engineer, but the shorter fins should help with high RPM cavitation. But also keep in mind that it may reduce flow at lower RPMs too....though I doubt it will be enough to worry about.

Search around and you'll find plenty of pics and threads showing the difference in the water pump fins.

I got a VE pump from Gspec. Fins are different from some DEs. Prevents cavitation at high RPM. Same pump that's on my '00 B15 rr DE.

Yes it will work. No modification required. Since the VE motor is very similar to the 99-01 RR DE, I used the water pump from the RR. When I compared the 99-01 DE pump to the old VE one they were exactly the same, blades and all.

Get it from Infiniti of Scottsdale. They usually have VE stuff in stock. Talk to Justin.
