i just want to know from people weather the universal type mufflers (like the ones for around $100) that everyone puts on their civics etc.... does any good for the nx? like if it feels any quiker with it on or helps hp like it says it does. would like to know if its worth the 100 for puttin on my nx.

As far as i know they all are pretty much the same design between brands. They all are straight through mufflers. And will allow more flow than the stock one which sacrifices flow for ultra quiet sound, and emmisions.

I think it will give you a little more power, but if you want more you might want to think about having a place custom bend you some piping. The stock piping is usually small and the bends are not smooth which hurts flow.

As far as removing the resinator its up to you, i have heard it gets alot louder without one. But if the cops dont hassle you about loud exhausts go for it.

In appleton near where i live the cops are being real pricks about exhausts. They are saying that any non stock exhausts or quote on quote modifyed exhaust systems are illegal. Which is total b.s. because most companys state that their exhausts are 50 state legal for sound requrements. (sorry just venting)
