yes you can but i think you have to drill the bottom holes *** the VE sit a little higher i think.. or if you have the right HotShot header then it bolt up but i dot know which gen. it was either..hope that help.

the ports on the DE are about an 1/8" bigger than the VE and the VE sits about 1/4" lower so you need to elongate (downward) the DE header holes 1/8" for it to raise up the extra 1/8".. hope this helps.

I used a HotShot 2nd gen header on my VE for a few weeks, and didn't have to modify it at all. The ports don't line up 100%, but I didn't have to drill the stud holes for it to line up without leaks.

The exhaust ports on the DE & VE head are the same size. Measurements confirm this. VE exhaust ports sit about 1/4" higher than the DE ones.

i should have said the ports on "our" DE header were 1/8" larger than the ports on the VE head... i stand corrected....

I have a lightly used ssac 2.5 ve header with o2 sensor and down pipe for sale.
Pm me if you want it, it was only used about 2000 miles, still very clean.
