Am I correct in assuming the pedal height can be adjusted without tampering with the engagement point. My friend just got a 95 SE-R and he wants me to look at it tomorrow.

I hope you find out so you can let me know how you did it. Mine is a 97 and it has about 2 inches of free play before it started to disengage.

yes, you can adjust pedal height w/o messing w/ pedal freeplay. the back of the pedal should be 6" to 6.25" from the floorboard. there is a bolt above the pedal that will allow you to adjust the height. i highly recommend getting a haynes, it has easy to read instructions, and isn't as pricey as a FSM.
