To be honest-and chime in anyone if you have anything else you know- is that the front grill for the 91-92 B13 Sentras was a tad different from the 93-94- also the front bumper was a tad different as well. Also the rear center tail lights extended further in on 93-94 B13 SE-Rs compared to 91-92s On the SR20 motors- there was a high and Low Port motor as well. If you were really into getting into racing and turing your B13 into a time attack track beast- i think the BEST B13 to get is a "E" model. It was the lightest, didnt have all the fancy power windows, ABS and all the creature comforts we all love. Now granted yes it had the GA16DE in it, but if you drop in an SR20 in an E model convert the rear drums to SE-R discs and strip that sucker -carbon fiber hood here, carbon fiber truck there, and turbo charge it- youve created yourself a track demon. I recently had to replace a power window motor it may not seem by much but these things really weigh! you wanna get rid of weight, because weight is the enemy- hope this helps out! :biggthump

I made an effort to find an SE-R with manual windows, no sunroof, no ABS and no airbag when I bought mine in '94. It wasn't difficult to find and it was even the white I wanted. Look around, you'll find 'em.
If you're out to build a track whore only the sunroof is show-stopper. Everything else can be unbolted. Those dad-gummed seatbelt retractors weigh a ton! Starting with the SE-R is nominally better than an E, but again, there is nothing that can't be bolted in to make up the difference.
I have to say I like '94s the best. Cleanest engine bay and the low-port isn't a handicap unless you're over 8,000 rpm. '93-94 bumper covers are deeper, too.

Avoid 94's especially if you plan on doing any kind of swaps. That of course is in my opinion.

Why is that?

ok, my 91 doesn't have anything as it says in my signature
it's the lightest se-r you can find
as far as swapping a ga16 to an sr20, if you're not worried about inspections or smog checks and have the extra dough, then go for it
if you're looking for simple, legal, and light, then get any year se-r with no power anything and no sunroof, mine even came without air conditioning

best would be 93 SE-R, has everything that the 94 SE-R had but with the 91-92 motor....

I think the seats are different too from the 91-92 to 93-94.
