How much power is the 35mm TiAL wastegate good for, or when do you want to go to the 40mm? What are the advantages of going to the 40mm? I am going to be running it with an HKS GT3037.

Tial 35, 375-425 WHP you can run more but this is average
Tial 40, 400-550 WHP" "

For the HKS GT3037 I would run the 40 MM Tial

The size 35mm vs. 40mm describes the size of the port in which the exhaust pressure/gases escape through. If you are running BIG hp's on 35mm you may experience boost creep because the orifice is to small for the exhaust to pass through. If you do decide to go with the 35mm, at least get the high pressure model. Its the 35mm base with the 40mm top. Only a few dollars more than a standard 35mm.

Why does not too many people run the 46mm??

Is it overkill? Too big??? or
just too expensive ...LOL??

I think thats what Rob Williams was gonna run on his big project that got cut short...just curious ...

Would there be a such thing as TOO BIG of a wastegate??
