its a turbonetics 60-1 journal bearings. let the pics speak for itself. the turbo is leaking oil. minor side to side play and more than normal in and out. 150shipped firm. this definitely needs rebuilding!

Would you have an ideal more or less how much a rebuild or rebuild kit would cost?

um that depends where u get it from. should be around 100 if u do it ur self. but i highly recommend having it professionally balanced.

that compressor wheel is screwed its got the corners broken off of 6 of the 7 secondary blades

How bad is the shaft play? The side to side and in and out saft play?

side to side is next to nothing...but in and out is outta spec..im thinking the thrust bearing got mashed up?

yeah thats possible or the turbine seal lip could be done. Then the turbo would be unrebuildable, refer to this link about the 60-1.

It would be great for myself as a potential buyer and the other person that offered u $70, if u would take that turbo apart so we can see the shaft. I am only asking this because of the damage to the fins on the compressor wheel, so that will have to be replaced,

but if the turbine seal lip is done, then the whole center section basically needs replacing, this might be the case with the in and out shaft play, here's the link from another forum:

i see *** ur saying and i agree. but this is the main reason im selling. i really dont feel like messing around with this turbo. i would take it a part but then ill just rebuild it and keep it lol.
