Hey everyone im new here thought id say hi and introduce myself, Im kenny and i live in AZ.
Question: Im looking into alternatives to going fast outside of V8's and i love boost, so im curious as to what yall think for a project for around 7k, i was thinking s13 or s14 down the road, let me know what u guys think.

Welcome, Kenny. Nice to see another V8 guy here. At one time, I was just like you. I bought my SE-R in '93, and since then, V8s really have taken a back seat to it. I do miss them, however, the knowledge I have gleaned about modern fuel injected, ECU-controlled cars, has been a real awakening.

S13 or S14 are beautiful cars. Turbo'd up, they are simply awesome. Don't rule out the FWD cars (SE-R, G20, NX2000, etc.) either. For your $$$ target, you can build a decent turbo FWD car, IMHO.

Do some searching here, do a little research in the turbo/nitrous/all motor forums, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

you can build yourself a pretty decent fwd turbo car with the money youre looking to spend, but the general cosensus that i seem to get from people who have done it is that if they could change one thing, they would go rwd. fwd just spins the tires way too much. and for s13 vs s14, id say go s13 for sure. imo, the bodystyle blows s14 out of the water.

rwd is the way to go...just remember one thing..the 240's with det's in them are money pits....just a warning.
