Hey guys whats up well my SR20DE-Tized engine is fine so far except that I added another fan from another car and when I'm idling and the fan turns on, I can tell cause it's pretty loud, the car starts to have an erractic idle from 450rpm to maybe 750, if you guys know what is going on please help me, also when I barely press the throttle it kind of surges but only when I'm barely pressing the throttle, do you guys think its the fuel pump, cause my friend in his B16 crx does the same thing??he also suspects his fuel pump?

please any help would be grateful, I've checked the archives but no luck, if you know let me know:) thanks

Sounds like to much fuel, whether its is a fuel pump, O2 sensor, or temp sensor problem, you'll have to find out. But the Temp sensor would be my first guess sense you mentioned the idle when the fan came on. Thougfh surging is often the symptom of a bad O2 sensor. Sorry, I couldn't narrow it down better for you. Its hard to work on cars over the internet ;o)

My fan is positioned in front of the radiator blowing into the radiator, it also cools down the exhaust manifold, could the cooling cause the exhaust manifold to cool down enough to mess up the o2 sensor readings? The o2 sensor is new and I don't have any problems with overheating so I know its not the temp sensor although I do have a gas hog?? Do you think maybe bad fuel pump??
