I can't believe it and i don't want to. I have around 50-60thousand miles on my tokikos struts and all four of them are dead as a doornob. Is this what i should expect out of aftermarket struts. If i switch over to KYG do you think the eibach sportline springs will still work?

be happy those shitty tocrapos lasted that long. they are by far the worst shock for the B13. get the AGXs and be done with it. as for how long they last, well, how hard do you drive your car? ;)

oh, and the eibachs will be fine as well

Get AGXs. They'll work fine with your springs and you won't be sorry.

Tokico blues do not last, that's a well known issue. Save your pennies and buy AGX's, they're worlds better than the blues. If you have aftermarket springs, they'll last even shorter.

All warranties are voided if you are lowered anyway, so jsut buy agx's. Never had tokicko's, cause everyone knew they were shit when I went to upgrade.

I have Tokico HB shocks and their HP springs.
Yes, the first generation front struts did fail often, I believe that there was a problem with the cyllinder and the sealing area around the tube that caused it to fail. Rendering a useless shock, as nearly all of the fluid would leak out.

I got the replacement shocks (next gen Tokicos) and they are perfectly fine. Over 40k miles on them now with no problems.

This was the NISMO package that they offered for Nissan. Call them and complain about your shocks failing. Just be carefull with what kind of spring you use as to rate. The Tokico springs (HPK225) are under-spung and cause the car to bounce at low speeds.

Here are the old numbers for front and rear shocks: HB1068 HB1066
Here are the new replacement numbers for front and rear shocks: HB1069 HB1067

Tokico: 1 (800) 548-2549 http://www.tokicogasshocks.com/warranty.html (Tokico Warranty)

Get the right person on the phone and they should help you.
I got my shocks replaced even though it was longer than one year. Just keep pushing the issue with them that your shocks have failed. There was a passive "recall" of sorts that went around a while back. I am speaking specifically about my experience with the older (malengineered) shocks. Your results may vary.

what do you guys think of the GR2s compared to the AGXs?
