Thank you so so so much
808se-r 09-25-2002, 10:02 PM i dont have a carfax account anymore, but i wouldn't worry so much about it having 10 history. Most of it is simple as a title transfer, registration released. Plus carfax didn't help me any when I bought this SE-R. it showed a clean history, but it could have been in 10 accidents for all you know, so as long as the insurance companies never bought the car, or claimed a total loss.
92KlaSiK 09-25-2002, 10:43 PM see thats one of the thigns i think the car was in a car accident andi was jsut wondering what had happened please help
thanks bro

 What do you mean by this?
martin_g34 09-26-2002, 09:32 PM If an insurance company never finds out about the accident, there is no way for them to put a salvaged title on a car. Lets say you get in a bad wreck (you run the car into a tree or something) and you decide to take care of the damages on your own. No one finds out the, the car gets fixed, and the car was never claimed as a total loss so it will not have a salvaged title on it.

808se-r 09-27-2002, 12:21 AM exactly... I'm pretty sure my car was in 4 medium sized accidents..
I bought the car with a smashed fender and bumper, when I replaced the fender, I found out it, itself was a replacement!! how's that for you...
also, does anyone know if a car was repaired under the bill of the insurance companies, for medium/smaller accidents, would it then be shown in carfax/etc??
92KlaSiK 09-27-2002, 08:12 AM See the thing was, with my car i dont knwo how bad of an accident it was in becasue it seems that the front rihgt and left fenders and hood was replaced. Any Carfax Pleae:D
Thank You

nx2000racer 10-02-2002, 02:46 PM hey, you were talking about the albany area, where do you live? im in the albany area.
300se-r 10-06-2002, 10:32 PM hey as long as the car isn't stolen, you won't need your title because you will never get rid of the car, trust me.
92KlaSiK 10-06-2002, 10:47 PM Actually you do need the title because you cant put the car on the road without the title there Junior Newbie
300se-r 10-07-2002, 07:36 PM I thought of that after i posted. That is a problem. Thanks for the correction I knew someone would correct me, but there is even a way around that.
300se-r 10-07-2002, 07:38 PM junior newbie, your the junior newbie. (just messing with you)
92KlaSiK 10-07-2002, 07:44 PM Yea i was just playin, but the guy still hasnt sent the title and he keeps tellin me he is gonna but hasnt yet! So its been months and i still cant drive the car :(
300se-r 10-07-2002, 08:50 PM Did this guy have it registered before?
300se-r 10-07-2002, 08:54 PM Man. you have a good running classic and can't drive it, that is torture.
92KlaSiK 10-07-2002, 09:11 PM Torture, It definetly is, i go out everyday look at it and cry knowin i cant drive it till i get the title,Do any of you guys know how long it takes to get a title from Albany New York???
92KlaSiK 10-07-2002, 09:16 PM Yea he had it registered, i checked out the car fax and there was a bunch of title transfers, 6 i think so i know the car has been on the road before. But he keeps tellin me ''oh ths DMV sucks" and what not but it has been two months. I knwo it is bad
but that BAD???
Da91NX 10-08-2002, 09:54 AM Yeah the albany DMV can get crazy at times and can be slow too. A couple of months, like two, isnt uncommon. I live near albany and i have had friends who have waited about two months for a title.
92KlaSiK 10-08-2002, 01:47 PM So you dont think the dude is joshin me??? I hope not, I cant wait to drive it.:(
