Make sure that the plugs are tight on the bulb. I had a set once that kept blowing and it turned out that the plug wouldn't fully clip onto the bulb, so it wasn't making a good connection and eventually burnt up the plugs.

Also, dont touch the bulb, your fingers will leave a greasy print on them which will cause the bulbs to burn out.

Check for a bad ground.

I definitely second the bad ground. Give those a check because my screws that held the ground wires in place inside the housing had rusted out, causing the same problem you had. Also, make sure you don't install a replacement bulb of more than 55W. Otherwise, you'll have more problems than you really want. Don't ask me how I know this.

you know what?i was just reading the case the bulbs came in and they are the apc hyper whites or whatever and they say 100watts so maybe thats the problem.the ground could be it also, never thought of that.well ill work on those things you guys mentioned and i appreciate all of your comments and advice.thanks guys

Just for knowledge, I had 100W H3's in my low beams. Strange thing is I never had a single problem for about 2 years, so I thought that 55W warning was BS. Then one night, I lost a bulb. Replaced it, and 2 nights later, the other one goes. Then, I'm replacing a bulb at least once every 3 wks. Well, one day after replacing the bulbs, no lights! Pulled the lights and found out I had burnt up at least 3 inches of wire leading to the grounds and the ground screws were black! Fixed this problem and the same thing happened 2 days later. After a few times of repeating this cycle, I ended up getting the halo projectors and learned my lesson the hard way. Hope your lights are OK.

i have the projectors and so does a friend. he had them first and when i bought mine he told me to buy the lower watt bulb. I think at autozone they had two choices of watts and my friend told me he had bought the higher watts thinking they would be birghter but they kept burning out on him and once he went to the lower watt bulb, it stopped burning out. I use the lower watt and have never had problem. try that if its not that then it has to be the ground.
