sounds like a massive intake leak or a bad maf sensor...

how long has it been sitting? I've bought several cars that were sitting for over a year, they were running like crap, I'd add gass and drive for a little bit and they'd be back to normal.

could be a vacuum leak, has the classic symptoms of one.... but without any more information people cant really help you out or else youll be fixing things that arent broken and looking for problems that dont exist. did you pinch any hoses or forget to connect one? one could have come off during the procedure... is it an auto trans or is it a standard?

hmm take it you have switched to manual ok i am not to sure if the auto cv's are the same as manual but if not then probaly but you say it cuts off on you do you mean it stalls or just cuts off cause if it just cuts off then its probly electrical
