I´m looking for a transmission, at the moment I use a sr20ve with a sr20de trans. Today I have killed my transmission, there are a better alternative for me? Is the sr16ve transmission better?

I have a nx coupe and I need a 5th gear transmission. A 6th gear is a dream. :tongue:

you can use a b15 spec v 6 speed tranny, you would need spindles, axles, bellhousing, I think mazworks sells a kit

the sr16ve tranny is geared shorter, at highway speeds you would be spinning even faster...

and the sr16ve trans runs perfect on the sr20ve? How shorter is the sr16ve trans as a sr20de trans? And how much coast a sr16ve trans normally?

SR20DE is 4.01 or around there and the SR16 is 4.44 final drive.

I know someone in Holland that has an SR16VE transmission for sale, I think it even has LSD. LMK.
