ringgold 09-26-2002, 11:42 PM Just got a new tranny for my B13. It came out of a wrecked 200SX SE-R with 13k on it. Got it for 425buks and it still had the mount on it. The tranny looks good other than some dust. Also ordered clutch cable,axle seals, and rear main seal from Courtesy should be here next week. All I got left to do is get my new clutch. Is there anything else that I need to get? What is the details on that change over? I just ordered my clutch so I basically have everything now I think? Your NX is a 93, I should have specified, the 91 and 92 B13s had a speedo cable. I saw that ringgold's B13 is a 92, so I put 2 and 2 together :). ringgold, its easy to change, its right on top of the tranny, you will see the B14 ones has a plug there, while your tranny will have the speedo cable going right into the tranny. Just replace the sensors, its not hard, maybe a screw or 2, I forgot. ringgold 09-27-2002, 01:04 PM So i already have all the parts on the 2 tranny's? I dont have to go out and buy anymore parts. I tried to get the speed sensor out but it didnt come out it only has one screw but it didnt come out. Maybe I need to give it a harder pull? Rocketman 09-28-2002, 09:41 AM Lightly tap the side of the sensor with a hammer and screwdriver. You want to try and turn it. There is an o-ring inside there that gets pretty tight after a long time. Other things to do with the tranny out..... Rear main seal on the engine Prime time to replace it ES steering rack bushings these are a bear to do with the tranny in definately get a throwout bearing and the clips for it lightweight flywheel. I love my fidanza that i just put in. hope that helps. Rick | ||
