i am having a problem with my driverside power window not going up. It will work if i hold the switch for a few sec. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem & what the fix would be.

its probably just shorting out. either get another one from a junk yard or pay top $ at the dealer.

try slaming your door shut my window was acting up and i gave some gurl a ride some where and she slamed my door when she got out it worked for my hope it works for you abe

HAHA! Finally someone else with my luck. Just kidding. I had to change my entire motor for the damn thing. You are looking at around $160-180 for the price of the part. Just install it yourself its very simple. I think I have a harder time getting up in the morning. Just to make sure, my problem was that it would go down like normal, but it just won't go back up. Sound familiar. What the problem is, is that the little rotor/gear thing is built well, but it just has a rubber piece in the middle that connects both the motor and the little pulley that makes the window go up and down. Of course over 6-7 years mine wore out and was ripped in half, separating the pieces and disabling it to go up. There! I think that should explain it hehe!

I FOUND THE PROBLEM!!! It is the switch,i used a volt meter and tested all the wires. i get power into the switch but no power comes out of it. Now the problem is spending money $$$.The motor is working just fine, thank God.

hey crono the exact same thing happened to me about a month ago it looked like a dog just chewed it up then somebody lit it on fire. It was nasty lookin' but i only spent 30 bucks on my motor from napa with the core return. It wasn't as much as you spent. That's too much. and now i have a problem with my engine *** my light came on. it always happens to the broke ass people. Are you goin to HIN by any chance *** i like ur stillen front. i just want to see it up close

Where is HIN? I thought it was over? Is it in Orlando? Just wondering, because my friend usually goes to those things, he just went to Nopi and drove all the way to Atlanta to see it, along with visiting friends who live there. Um...yeah so whatever the date is I can give you a better answer. BTW where is brandon? Isn't that where matt lives? BTW I DO have pics but I don't want to post them yet, seeing as I wanted a dusk pic with my neon lights on, but one of my bulbs seems to have completely shattered, and only jagged glass/plastic remains. Sigh, at least my friend has spares laying around so I can fix it up and get the pic. TRUST ME ITS NICE NOT ALL THAT RICEY...well ok it is, but I like it!! :)

like i said, get one from a junkyard. in fact, u can find most used parts from junkyard nowadays on the internet.

it's in orlando on october 19 at the convention center. there's a thread in the florda forum. it starts around 5-6. tickets are 25 bucks. shows are startin to get expensive. i don't know matt. But i met kevin and tj the both are boostin'. Damn they're nice. But there's a whole bunch of nissans meetin at 1 in orlando it's on the thread.

called all the junk yards around Cleveland and cant even find a newer nissan.if i order it through where i work (sears auto) a can probly get it for cheap....i hope. i will call more junk yards in the Akron area.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you might have to get one from a stealership. There are NOT many of our cars in the junkyards. Am finding this out the hard way.

SEs come with power windows, so there you go. Get in touch with this guy and ask him to buy it and ship it to you, and just pay him back. I'm sure he wouldn't mind helping a fellow SE-R enthusiast.
