About to start-sr20ve swap into sr20DE

Hi, read loads and gathered information and all the parts i need.
Now I think I am ready for the swap.
I just want to finally run it by you people to make sure this is correct.

Okay.

I will be putting an sr20ve engine into my Nissan Sunny N14 sr20DE gti.

Plan

sr20ve engine will go straight in
what i use-
de ecu
de sensors
de distributor
de maf
greddy mss to control vvl switching.

Now this is where i'm slightly confussed.
I plan to run an aftermarket ecu- autronic, dastek unichip, or vipec.
With this aftermarket ecu fitted and mapped, do i still use the DE 259cc injectors or can i now use the ve 333cc injectors?

When is there a need to use the ve injectors for this swap?
I also plan to have the rev limit raised to the ve standard limit or maybe higher with the mapping of the ecu.

Thanks for looking.:D

I personally have never heard of using DE injectors on a VE because of running a DE ECU. I would just leave the VE injectors in, it'll run rich, but I don't think you're going to want to have only 259's in the VE. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Okay so maybe it's, only use the DE injectors if you are using the de ecu?
So if i plan to use an aftermarket ecu i can then run the ve maf, harnesses, injectors and distributor????
I read that people doing these swaps just use all the DE parts, so are they not getting it mapped and just using a msd or greddy mss????

Can you show me where you read to use DE injectors? Just curious because I've never heard of that. Even with the DE ECU(which you shouldn't be using =) ) you use the VE injectors. Again, someone correct me if I'm wrong but in the research I've done on both SR's(although info is ALWAYS left and right) I've come to the conclusion that you only use the DE sensors(ie. TPS, CTS, Knock, Maf[unless you tune for other] etc.) In the VE swap I did, we originally ran the DE ECU ,until we got the Nistune up and running, on the VE w/ VE injectors and it was running rich(obviously) but ran fine, although slow in comparison.

You don't want to use the de injectors. They will max out and you will run lean and go pop. I'm not very familiar with the fuel controllers people use, but that's what people are doing. From what I understand it converts the signal the ecu sends for the de injectors into the proper signal for the ve injectors, and they tune it with a wide band.

^right, using an SAFC or something

So before i get the aftermarket ecu i can get away with ve, de ecu, ve injectors, safc, greddy mss.
Then later map with aftermarket ecu?
