to make a long story short....

my car is fckd up...It wont start, this has happend now for *** last week. (bout 6 times)
My battery is fine (according to pep-boys, but also checked it after i had been charging it)
my alternator is fine (according to the tow truck guy that started my car one time, he checked
witht the thing that jumped my car) But if i turn off my car, it wont start again..even if its like
3 minutes l8r. When the dash lights are on they will dim of flicker a little.

Im thinkin that maybe its my starter? but i dont know, any idea's
(im taking it over to *** dealership tomorrow, i cant right now)

If you turn the key to start the car, and all you here is a clicking, and the motor doesn't turn over, it's probably the starter.

Definetly the starter, I had this problem twice already..:mad:

got my car back, turned out it wasnt the starter...
it was something wrong with the connection with
the battery or sumthin, they gave me sum new wires or sumthin
and recharged my batt. works and starts great again!
woohoo, and only 45 bux, a lot cheaper than i thought

Bet it was something with the two other wires on the battery terminal. One goes to the fuse box next to the battery. I have had some problems with that as well. When no power gets to it the battery won't charge when the car is running. So as long as you drive it the alt. keeps the car running, but when you cut it off the battery won't have enough juice to start the car.

a while back my friend called me from his work saying that his friend has a 98 sentra that was doing the same thing you're describing. i told him to check all terminals and other than that i didnt know what was wrong. I'll be sure to tell him about this.
