Isn't the gtir maf about the same as the regular sr20 one? Those things have tiny openings...

the t25 and your maf are your bottlenecks right now, and the non tuneable ecu

I accually just got the car for next to nothing as it sits, It is a SR20DET BB swap. So Im open to upgrades. I want to raise the boost to a fun but safe level for the stock internals.

What is a good maf? The turbo is only at 5 psi (Stock rating) So ill like to max that out before I upgrade. Or I do have a nitrous kit just sitting here ;).

I have 370 injectors and a walbro and a t25. I'm running the injectors at 4 bar. They are good for 290 hp (correct me if I'm wrong) at 4 bar. A t25 cannot blow up an sr20 as long as it has enough fuel. It doesn't have enough flow. I've found mine can only push 12-13 psi all the way to redline. You want to turn it up just enough to where the wastegate still opens. Turbos are about flow not psi. You can tell if your wastegate opens by the fact that the boost will not drop at redline.

Most people use n60 maf (maxima and several others) and 300zx/j30 maf sensors. Your ecu will need to be programmed for them.

Just picked up a SR20de long block needing rebuild for $30 this afternoon so if all works out ill finish the Cobra and move on to this.

But which turbo manifolds will fit? Will a sr20det RWD manifold fit in the FWD? A 50 trim should work pretty good.

What Hp are the stock internals good for?

Any guess on 1/4 mile times? Ill probably run it tomorrow but what should I be looking for?

be careful on your launches, take it real easy, they wheel hop like crazy on the track, wheel hop+turbo = cracked tranny case

some rwd mani's do fit, the gtir manifold seems to have more space than bluebird and avenirs and will fit larger turbos without grinding, you might wanna do a search and find out what people are running on the gtir manifolds....

stock internals care supposed to be good for 400 hp, but the question has always been "how long?"

Ok so the stock internals should get me to where I want to be (low 13's) without issue. I should'nt need to max out the internals at that goal.
