I think u have to get some little part for it to make the 300zx pump to fit. If i were i will get the Walbro 255lph fuel pump for $110 shipped

I did the Walbro swap and it was a piece of cake. I only had to modify the wiring harness. I think the Z32 pump is the same but I'm not sure...

i dropped in my walbro over the weekend. all u have to do is butt splice to wires, other than that, direct drop in replacement. its pretty easy, except the access hole is razor sharp. i cut myself pretty good fishing for the pump.

oh, make sure you're low on gas or the pump will be submerged. i was on E basically and i still got wet. just fyi.

and don't do what i did, and get a hose caught on the sender arm. my guage won't go past half way now  now i've gotta take the damn thing apart again.

I highly recommend the walbro pump its basically and oem replacement...fits right in all wires hook right up, no mods to fit...how ever if u decide to put the z32 pump in prepare to mod the wires, dremmel out the top of the fuel pump box, and you have to mod the bottom of the sump on the pump for the the stock sump to connect properly, also you will need a 3" hose clamp to secure the pump in place....that should be about it...
go with the walbro....

what's the difference in the walbro n the 300zxtt fuel pumps

i think the 255lph flows more than the 300zx TT pump.

but the walbro is NOT A DIRECT REPLACEMENT! you use a foam sleve to get it to fit into the pump cradle. you also have to butt splice two wires for the new harness. incredibly simple to do, but just wanted to make that clear.

whats the main difference between the walbro and 300zx pump?

Basically the Walbro will out flow the 300ttz pump and can be had for less if purchased new. The Walbro is a direct bolt in with install kit. Correct me if I'm wrong but the 300TTZ will support 350-360HP (*if new) and the Walbro (255lph HP) is good for 500HP.
I'm dealing the Walbro's for $92 shipped with install kit.

thats an excellent price, i paid $110 + shipping for mine, and I thought i got a pretty fair price. i know a guy with an ls1 trans am spraying a 250shot w/ ~1400psi bottle pressure on that fuel pump. well he was, after he blew his 8th transmission, he pretty much gave up and started working on another car.

and don't listen to anyone who complains of the "noise" - the only, and I mean *ONLY* time I hear my pump, is when i turn the car to accessory before i start it. You can hear it hum for about 4-5 seconds while it primes the fuel system, and you've really got to listen for it. I actually love the sound ;)

From what I was told from talking with Clark at JWT:

--the 300zxTT pump is alot quieter than the walbro (I only hear mine at idle usually)

--the 300zxTT pump will flow up to 450- 500 horsepower (which is more than the walbro 255 probably)

--the 300zxTT pump is like twice as expensive as the walbro, I paid like $190 or so.

--on the 300zxTT pump that I put into my B14, the wiring was plug and play. I used the sock off of my stock pump, and attached it to the 300zx pump. The only big pain was reworking the pump housing box so the 300zx pump could fit, it's big!

The only time I hear my walbro is when it primes the fuel system. Takes about 4-5 seconds when i start the car. Other than that I *NEVER* hear my pump.

I know a guy making about 600whp on a walbro 255lph

--the 300zxTT pump is like twice as expensive as the walbro, I paid like $190 or so.

The big draw back right there.

The walbro pump requires you to cut and butt-splice two wires. Takes about 2minutes if you've never done it before. Also comes w/ foam sleeve so it fits perfectly in the pump cradle/housing.
