My seat won't move along the rails. I can't find anything in the rails that is blocking movement but whatever it is feels really solid.

It's stuck near the back of the rails and will move about 3/4 inch but will only lock into one slot.

I've tried taking the seat cushion off to see if there's anything visible, but I just can't see what the problem is.

Ideas???

Same thing happened to my passenger seat yesterday. I still haven't figured out what it is though.

It is a coin..penny, dime, quarter..(thats what was in mine) you have to pull the seat to get to it and see and remove it...by the way...it wont work for a soda afterwards.:)

Its is coinage. Just get a long thin screw driver and fish it out. Works for me every time.:D

My passenger seat has been stuck for 3 years. :( I was going to pull out the seat but It's stuck back and I can't get to the bolts. At least it's not all the way forward.

This is the trick! everytime i vacume my car i accidently roll back my driverside seat all the way and it getsw stuck. get someone in the back to force it fwd, with knees, feet whatever. while you are up front holding it. be careful though you dont wanna hit your nose on the steering wheel when it pops back in place. be patient it took mine about 3mins of a lot of pressure to get back to normal a few times, i think its a glitch with our car (seats)

My seats were stuck as well. BUt then one day when I happened to be doing a thorough cleaning of my cars interior, ie I took out my seats. ;) I happened to see some change stuck in my rails. It took me and a body of mine over half and hour trying to get out all of the change that was stuck in the rail. I even ended up having to bend one of the coins just to get it out because it weas stuff soo tight. I say check your seats again for change.

I find it kinda funny that we're talking about this topic. I have had the same problem for years. Cleaned the car, took the coins out of the rails, works fine. But for some reason the passenger side seat just wont budge. There nothing stock, and it still won't move. Just look at this as being an advantage rather then a problem, like me. When my friends and I go out, and we try to figure out who drives, no one wants to take my se-r because its a pain in the ass to get in and out of the back seats.;)

there is a penny stuck in mine and has been forr 2 years now. I cant fit my big head between it and the back seat. Or even reach the bolts anymore. It makes it even harder to get in the back of the nx. I guess it was hard anyway, well unless your circus clowns. :)

there's a 76 Datsun B210 sitting in my backyard(that still works) and i always hated adjusting the passenger seat because it was the bitch of all seatsto move. guess it had change in there. Never thought change could get in the rails though. I need to check it out. BTw i dont know if coins are magnetic i thought it was a good guess at the time though. :D

Hey do any of you have the this problem with your folding seats. When I use the handle at the side the seat back never returns to the same angle!... and on the drivers seat the it doesn't roll forward either meaning that I need to grab the leaver at the front to let peps in on my side... PITA.... just another reason not to ride in the back of eggs....

I dont know about you but its a pain readjusting my seats when someone moves them. I takes me a few drives to get the right position, otherwise my back tends to ache without the right seat position

okay, i just wanted to state again that i'm not sure if coins are magnetic, so don't blame me if ur magnet ends up getting caught in the rail as well as a coin that is already there. Can someone verify if coins are magnetic?
