my sr20 is struggling to hold idel will sit on 1000rpm for alil drop to 700 and then stall , when driving drive ok but sounds a little bit odd and exhaust is excessivley poppy , it also sometimes back fires when down gearing , my air flow sensor came of the other night but i fixed it , could this have messed up my timing or air to fuel mixture any help would be greatley appreciated

One more time, Miss Cleo (famous psychic) does not post here. Please list your entire setup and your year and model.

It sounds like you are getting way too much fuel. Coolant temp sensor maybe.
