i need a rebuilt starter or a rebuild kit? i cannot get ahold of andreas, whats the alternatives?

what is in a rebuild kit? brushes..anything else?

i sent andreas money for a starter 2 days ago. he was a little slow answering emails but i wouldnt worry about getting ripped off or anything. he's definitely still around.
alternatively, someone in another thread got one from autozone for like 130 with a lifetime warrenty so thats probably worth thinking about.

I think I saw some on Ebay for $48 shipped. YOu should check that out.

he didnt answer my first mail either so i sent another one a few days later and he answered that one. ill let you know how long it takes to get the actual starter if you want.

ordered the brush from courtesy for $21. rebuild and save.

As an alternative, Jason Garrett Young has them for $48 including shipping. Remove old, install new, save time on rebuild.

what i want to do is put in the one andreas is sending then i can rebuild the old one myself and sell it on ebay or something when im done so the whole deal will end up being almost free, assuming i do the install myself.
