The NX 09-30-2002, 11:27 AM i drive a nissan nx2000, and very very soon gonna put in gti-r engine, but with stock transmission. I know im gonna need a new tranny, but i dont know where to find one. Can someone help me out? how long will my stock tranny last before it blows? You may want to think about having the gears cryoed, and you will probably want to run redline shockproof gear oil. How long your tranny lasts wil have alot to do with your driving style. Weld up the case will save a lot on ur tranny considering thats what usually breaks. When I did my GTi-R I realized that i think it's 3 bolt holes don't line up and can't be used.
